Elix treats ward care and procedures as full workflows with their own setup, not as notes attached to an outpatient visit.

Inpatient care​

  • Admission requests from clinics and emergency, and bed allocation
  • Active admissions by ward, with the patient's charts and records
  • Ward rounds and nursing shifts, with handover
  • Work items for each patient: medications due, observations, tasks
  • Discharge planning and readiness tracking

Procedures​

  • Register of requested and scheduled procedures
  • Scheduler for theatres and rooms
  • Nursing checklists before and after a procedure
  • Setup of procedure types, teams and consumables

Each procedure keeps its own record of who was involved, what was used and what was found, linked back to the encounter that asked for it.
