Product Overview

Elix is a clinical and operations platform for hospitals, clinics, labs and pharmacies. It holds the patient record and the work around it: registration, appointments, outpatient and inpatient care, investigations, specialty programmes, pharmacy and stock, billing and payers, patient messaging, reporting and administration.

Every module shares one patient record, one access model and one audit trail, so an order placed in a consulting room reaches the lab, the pharmacy and the bill without being typed twice.

Using Elix alongside another system

A provider does not have to move everything to Elix at once. A facility can keep its own EMR or EHR and use Elix for one service, such as the lab, the pharmacy or billing, with patients and results exchanged over the API and FHIR.

How these docs are organised

  • Product describes each module in operational terms: who uses it and what it does.
  • API is the reference for the endpoints open to partners, generated from the OpenAPI description.
  • Integrations explains how to connect another system: authentication, FHIR exchange and the steps to link an external EMR.
